Dear Amateur Golfers and Professionals:
I would like to invite you to participate in the Fifth Annual Teeth of the Dog Twosome Championship. Teams can consist of two amateurs, one amateur and one professional but not two professionals.
The tournament will be played on the Teeth of the Dog, The Links and Dye Fore. A $400.00us entry per team for the team pool including Skins game will be collected at Casa de Campo and 100% of the entry will be paid back to the winning teams.
From the team pool, 15% will go toward the overall gross and 15 % to the net winners, 35% toward daily gross winners and 55% toward daily net winners. To be eligible to compete in the net division, players will be required to present a handicap card from their home club.
Tees will be assigned according to the following formula. If the amateur player’s age plus his handicap from the white tees on the Teeth of the Dog adds up to 70 or over he will play the white tees if below blue tees. All professionals 51 years old and over will play the blue tees, the junior professional the gold tees.
As an incentive, Casa de Campo will offer the ladies accompanying the players complimentary green fee. The cart fee will be $28.00us p/p + 16% tax. Format (90 Holes)
The first 36 holes will be best ball shamble format using two out of the best four balls over two days on each hole on Dye Fore, the next 36 holes the same format but on the Teeth of the Dog and the final round will be one best ball on the Links.
Tees
The courses will be set-up from the Gold Tees at approximately 6,850 yards, the blue tees at 6,450 yards and the white tees at 6,100 yards
