Teeth of the Dog Twosome Championship Invitational
Dear Amateur Golfers and Professionals
I would like to invite you to participate in the Third Annual Teeth of the Dog Twosome Championship.
The format will vary each day for five days. Teams can consist of two amateurs, one amateur and one professional but not two professionals. The tournament will be played on the Teeth of the Dog, ranked 17th in the world with 7 holes bordering the Caribbean. The Links our inland course framed by our native grass and the Dye Fore at Altos de Chavon with breath taking views of the Chavon River, the Caribbean, the marina and Altos de Chavon await to provide you the most incredible golf experiences ever imagined.
A $300.00 US entry per team for the team pool will be collected at Casa de Campo and 100% of the entry will be paid back to the winning teams. From the team pool, 20% will go toward the overall gross and net winners, 50% toward daily gross winners and 30% toward daily net winners.
To be eligible to compete in the net division, players will be required to present a handicap card from their home club. Players will play from tees according to their age and the courses will be set-up so you can all compete and enjoy the event.
As an incentive, Casa de Campo will offer the ladies accompanying the players complimentary green fee. The cart fee will be $25.00 US p/p + 16% tax.

Format (90 Holes)
The format will vary each day for five days. The first 18 holes will be a scramble. The second round will be a Pinehurst format. The third and fourth round will be best ball shamble format using two out of the best four balls over two days on each hole and the final round will be one best ball.
Tees
The courses will be set-up at approximately 6,850 yards but players 50 to 59 years old the yardages will be reduced by 5% and 60 years old and up by 8%.
