Casa de Campo Spring Shootout

Dear Friends:

I would like to invite you to participate in the Fourth Annual Casa de Campo Shootout from April 16 to April 20, 2008. The Casa de Campo Spring Shootout is a fun and wild Caribbean Spring event and we hope that you can join us. The tournament will be a 54-hole stroke play event with net and gross divisions and will be played on the famous Teeth of the Dog, Links and Dye Fore.

The men’s field will be divided in ten flights and the ladies in six flights according to handicaps. We will take the net and gross winners in each flight and they will compete in a shootout on Saturday afternoon. The shootouts will be played on the Teeth of the Dog. We will eliminate a number of players on each hole and we end up with two men and two ladies, who will play number # 9 of the Teeth of the Dog to become the overall champions. Prizes will be awarded for net, gross and daily lows. We will also have a drawing for 4 x $1,000.00 gift certificate that can be used toward the package cost of the Casa de Campo Open in September 2008 or the Spring Shootout 2009. All participants will receive one ticket in the drawing but tickets will also be given in accordance to how you finish in your flight, the winners of the daily lows and to the qualifiers in the shootouts.

On the enclosed flyer you will find the schedule of events, the package and the entry form. Because we are limiting the entries, we suggest that you fax or email your application as soon as possible. Please fax your entry with credit card information to 809-523-8800 or email at golf@ccampo.com.do. A $200.00us deposit per person will be required upon registering to secure your room at the hotel. On April 1st the balance of your entire package will be charged to your credit card. If you cancel after April 1st or do not show, your $200.00us deposit will not be refunded and will be used as a cancellation penalty. The balance between the cancellation penalty and your package will be refunded. Phone entries will not be accepted and the deadline to register is March 31st, 2008. The tournament will be limited to the first 180 people to registered, no exceptions will be made.

For the 2008 tournament we have included in the packages breakfast, lunch, dinner daily, all drinks at all hotel restaurants and bars, plus the oasis bars and carts on the golf courses during the three tournament rounds. We also will make golf unlimited from Wednesday thru Saturday, so we will not charged any cart fees if you decide to play more golf in the afternoon excluding the Teeth of the Dog. If you would like to spend a few extra days at beautiful Casa de Campo before or after the tournament, we are offering a special rate of $265.00us single occupancy and $199.00us per person double occupancy. These rates include room for one night, breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks at all hotel restaurants and bars, one transportation cart per room, complimentary green fees, tax and service charge. For early arrivals and late departures, the cart fee is $25.00us per person plus 16% tax per round.

American Airlines has a direct flight from Miami to Casa de Campo, which is fantastic for our participants from the United States main land. American Eagle has daily flights from San Juan to Casa de Campo but we suggest that you make your reservations early. Spirit Airlines has flights from Ft. Lauderdale to Santo Domingo or Punta Cana and many direct flights are available from the New York area. Do not wait too long with any airlines because the seats are booked very quickly.

If you have any questions concerning the tournament, do not hesitate to call us at 809-523-8115 / 8215, fax us at 809-523-8800 or Email
golf @ccampo.com.do. We will be happy to hear from you.

We hope you invite your friends to come along and play in this exciting format. I look forward to seeing you in April.

Sincerely yours,
Gilles E. Gagnon
