New Book Commemorates
Pete Dye’s Golf Legacy

The Dye Family hired golf author Joe
Zuckerman to write a comprehensive review
of Pete Dye’s legendary career. The book
titled “Pete Dye Golf Courses, Fifty Years
of Visionary Design,” traces the building of
course by unforgettable course including
the four courses in Casa de Campo: Teeth
of the Dog, Links, La Romana Country Club
and Dye Fore. “I think any of the Casa de
Campo golfers or villa owners would love
to receive this book as a Christmas present,”
commented Casa de Campo Golf Director
Gilles Gagnon. The book traces fifty years of
Pete Dye’s career as being synonymous with
innovative golf course design. According to
the books author, “Over the decades, his
body of work has resulted in some of the
greatest courses of the modern era. For the
first and only time, the essential courses
of Pete Dye are gathered together in one
volume; in words, pictures and anecdotes.”
