Welcome Letter
Caribbean Golf Association Classic
April 23rd to the 27th, 2008
Dear Caribbean Golf Association Members,
The Caribbean Golf Association, the Dominican Golf Federation and Casa de Campo Resort would like to invite you to participate in the 13th Annual Caribbean Golf Classic from April 23rd to 27th, 2008. This annual golf extravaganza will take place at Casa de Campo in La Romana, Dominican Republic. The tournament will be played on three fabulous Pete Dye golf courses including Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore and the Links.
For the Caribbean Classic you will compete against other golfers with similar handicaps traveling from our ten member Caribbean countries. Flights have been created so players within the same flight have no more then a 5 handicap stroke difference between them. Handicaps are only used to qualify players for flights. Within these flights, players compete at scratch for individual prizes and also can help their country win the overall championship.
Casa de Campo is offering outstanding all-inclusive tournament packages and extra night rates. You can fly to La Romana Airport which is a 10 minute ride from the resort, Santo Domingo Airport which is a one hour and ten minute transfer or Punta Cana Airport which is a one hour and forty minute commute.
The applications for the 2008 tournament will be taken on a first come first serve basis. You can only register for the tournament through our websites at www.casadecampo.com.do or www.casadecampogolfevents.com . You will receive a confirmation within 24 hours but your application will not be official until we have your flight information. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call Casa de Campo golf office at 809-523-8115 or 8215.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Dominican Republic in April 2008. Best wishes and Buena Suerte.
